Who We are

Praise be to Allah, the Sovereign of the Universe. May His peace and blessings be upon our revered Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the guide of all messengers, along with his companions and all who follow his path.

G&Y is a UK-based registered charity established in 2007 with the aim of alleviating poverty among orphaned children and the underprivileged in Bangladesh. Our endeavors encompass various initiatives:

  • Provision of financial aid for the educational requirements of children from impoverished families.
  • Establishment of Madrasa schools to facilitate education.
  • Distribution of educational resources and development programs.
  • Construction of shelters for the homeless and provision of wheelchairs for the disabled.

Additionally, our projects extend to medical treatment, distribution of rickshaws and sewing machines among disadvantaged women, orphan support, Qurbani, winter blanket distribution, and financial assistance for widows. Between 2007 and 2017, Goreeb And Yateem Fund Trust UK has contributed over £1 million to diverse projects across Bangladesh. A primary focus of our efforts is to support the education of underprivileged children. We acknowledge the pivotal role of education and remain steadfast in our commitment to its provision by establishing schools, offering educational materials, and implementing comprehensive study programs.

Masjid

Masjid Project

The Masjid Project, initiated by the Iqra Help Foundation, embodies a profound commitment to community welfare and spiritual enrichment. Our organization, dedicated to serving humanity through compassionate outreach, has undertaken this noble endeavor to construct a haven of worship and communal gathering. With the collective efforts of our donors, volunteers, and supporters, we aim to realize a sacred space that transcends mere bricks and mortar, fostering unity, solace, and spiritual growth.

The Masjid, envisioned as a beacon of hope and harmony, will not only cater to the religious needs of the community but also serve as a hub for educational programs, social services, and interfaith dialogue. Through the generosity of our donors, who selflessly contribute to our cause, we strive to cultivate an environment where all individuals, regardless of background or belief, feel welcomed and embraced. Together, we are building more than a physical structure; we are laying the foundation for a vibrant, inclusive community bound by compassion and shared values.

Masjid

Madrasah Project

The Madrasah Project, initiated by the Iqra Help Foundation, embodies our commitment to education and community empowerment. With the noble aim of fostering educational opportunities for underserved populations, we endeavor to create a sustainable impact in regions where access to quality education remains a challenge. Through the generous donations we receive, we are able to establish and support madrasahs (Islamic schools) in economically disadvantaged areas, providing not only academic instruction but also instilling moral and spiritual values.

By investing in these educational institutions, we empower future generations with the knowledge and skills necessary to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities. The Madrasah Project represents more than just bricks and mortar; it symbolizes hope, resilience, and the transformative power of education. Together, with the support of our donors and volunteers, we are paving the way for a more equitable and educated society, one madrasah at a time.
