Masjid Project In Bangladesh

A mosque serves as the heart of any Muslim community, providing a sacred space for prayer, reflection, and communal learning. Beyond its spiritual significance, a mosque also plays a crucial role in offering essential services to the local community, such as education and pastoral care. Its primary function is to uphold and propagate the teachings of Islam while nurturing the moral and spiritual growth of its members. By contributing to the construction of a mosque, individuals not only fulfill a rewarding act of worship but also ensure a lasting legacy for generations to come, as their charitable deeds continue to benefit the community by the grace of Allah. Through the generous support of donors like you, G&Y has successfully built 95 mosques and undertaken numerous repair projects. These mosques have witnessed over 151,100 congregational prayers, a number that grows with each passing day. Such contributions have provided worshippers with a haven of peace and tranquility, fostering an environment conducive to spiritual devotion. May Allah SWT accept all these heartfelt donations and bestow blessings in this world and the hereafter. The cost of constructing a mosque varies depending on factors such as size and capacity. For instance, a mosque catering to 130-150 worshippers typically requires a donation of $10,000, covering expenses for construction as well as the necessary facilities like ablution areas and toilets. Alhamdulillah, in 2020, we completed the construction of 18 mosques, with an additional 20 mosques currently underway across various regions including Sylhet, Lalmonirhat, Panchaghar, and Magura. Our ongoing mission is to continue building mosques and renovating existing ones, particularly in rural areas, to ensure that all members of the community can pray together in comfort and serenity.
