The Children’s Madrasah/Maktab serves as the cornerstone for young Muslim learners to acquire essential knowledge about Islam – encompassing fundamental beliefs, practices such as wudu’ and prayer, Quranic recitation, and more. Over the past year, the Iqra Help Foundation has been privileged to initiate 20 children’s madrasahs in impoverished areas of Bangladesh. These institutions offer underprivileged children access to Islamic education, along with learning materials, uniforms, and meals – all provided free of charge. Additionally, these madrasahs offer secure employment opportunities for local scholars, thus aiding their families. Madrasahs play a pivotal role in fostering thriving Muslim communities. We aspire to establish another 50 children’s madrasahs in Bangladesh with your generous contributions and prayers.
